About the author

Don Sikorski has spent three decades inside the investigation that most journalists walked away from. He began tracking the connections between the LAPD's Rampart Division and the security apparatus of Death Row Records in the mid-1990s — before the Rampart scandal broke publicly, before the civil litigation produced its admissions, before the pattern became undeniable.

As an investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker, he has built relationships with sources, cultivated access to documents, and assembled an evidentiary record that no single investigation, lawsuit, or media outlet has produced in full. The Dossier is the result of that work.

He is the co-founder of Signal Zero Productions, an access-driven production company working at the intersection of law enforcement, crime, and justice. His previous work includes the television series Police 24/7.
